Responsibilities of this role:-
Design and develop commercial pilot plant project plan and Giga factory blue print as per agreed capacity and timelines
Develop Manufacturing process design and equipment sizing
Select equipment vendors and negotiate supply terms along with SCM
Build project execution team and oversee the project construction
Responsible for Equipment installation and commissioning (Pilot project and Giga factory)
Collaboratively work with Projects, product development and operations teams during Giga factory execution
Accountable for building a Giga factory Project conceptualization and execution plan
Responsible for creating a collaborative framework to work along with technology partners
Responsible for Giga factory execution (project cost and timelines)
Build project and manufacturing operations teams, coach and mentor them to be ready for commercial operations of the Giga factory.

5. Responsible for site development, site survey work, establishing temporary and permanent benchmarks, establish existing GL by creating benchmark, quantify cutting/filling work for area grading/levelling of plot.
6. Constant coordination and expediting within team (Contractors, Consultant, Company's Internal Team) and ensure that team is involved, have sufficient information, aware and highly motivated.
7. Responsible for ensuring Workfront clearance and WORK availability to Contractor, expedite with Consultant and Project Team for timely availability of required drawings/documents for construction.
8. Responsible to develop Schedule, Construction Plan with help from Contractor, Consultant, and review and approve it.
9. Responsible for Quality and Workmanship for all construction work related to Civil & Structure, Piping, Fabrication, Structural Steel, PEB, Electrical & LVS, Equipment, Fire Fighting System, Instrumentation, DCS, HVAC, at site and ensure that work executed by Contractors meets Contract Specifications, QAP, ITP, Quality Management Plan, no compromise on Quality. 10. Responsible for maintaining and archive soft copy and/or hard copy of Monthly Bills, Measurements Records, Documents, Drawings, Record/Instructions/ Records Books, and instruction/information given by management/ or consultant related to project work.
11. Responsible for implementation and strict adherence to all Statutory standards/codes/rule & regulations/requirement like BOCW Act, Environment Clearance points, PF, ESCI, minimum wages, etc.
12. Responsible for Non-BOQ Items’ Rate analysis & Rate, BOQ, etc. as per the drawing & working of various items to be executed, finalized the vendor & cost of the contracts to execute the work at site including preparation of tender documents.
13. Schedule and participate in daily, weekly, monthly meetings with project team & EPCM consultant / architecture / vendor for the project progress work.
14. Responsible for manpower, material, machineries etc. are available on time, resolve issues with contractors / Consultant and raise red flag before it gets delayed.
15. Regular cross check, review, and physical measurement of all kinds of work executed at site by various contractors, certification of vendor’s Monthly Invoice, and timely submission of Invoices to Finance for payment.
16. Materials reconciliation against free issue of materials (FIM) to vendors considering approved wastage norms by consultant / CPWD etc. Including material inventory.
17. Any other duties commensurate with the role.
